“Ang Probinsyano actor” Awra Jailed for Scandal
Actress McNeal "Awra" Briguela has been charged with criminal mischief after being arrested for allegedly engaging in a scuffle outside a nightclub in Makati City on Thursday early, an official said yesterday.
Police filed accusations of alarm and scandal, as well as disobedience of individuals in authority, against Briguela, 19, who uses the pronouns she and her, according to city police head Col. Edward Cutiyog, while Mark Christian Ravana filed a complaint of physical harm against the actor.
According to Cutiyog, the actor from "Ang Probinsyano" faced inquest procedures at the municipal prosecutor's office.
Briguela was still being held by police as of press time.
According to Cutiyog, Briguella allegedly demanded Ravana to remove his shirt and sparked a brawl with his group outside the Bolthole Bar in Poblacion when he refused.
Ravana claimed Briguela ripped his shirt, causing a conflict between her companions and Ravana's party.
According to Cutiyog, when police arrived at the scene, Briguela cursed at them, forcing them to arrest and handcuff her.
Briguela's companion, content producer Zayla Nakajima, alleged in a now-deleted post that a man at the pub attempted to grope her and another acquaintance.
